1990 –
On the second day of August, thousands of Iraqi soldiers crossed the borders of
Kuwait and reached the center of the capital within a few hours.
The effects of the former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein’s decision that day
was still ongoing.
The question has always been unanswered: How did Saddam make that decision?
Kuwait’s occupation was completed by Republican Guard, Air Force and army planes.
The Iraqi army has been driven into such an adventure without the knowledge of
the Defense Minister and the Chief of General Staff.
